Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Aftermarket Revenue DiversificationAftermarket revenue growth of 86% YoY materially diversifies the company's revenue mix toward retrofit/conversion and service work. That recurring, higher‑visibility revenue reduces reliance on cyclical new‑car orders, supporting steadier cash flows and margin durability over multiple cycles.
Productivity And Operational ImprovementsApproximately 50% productivity gains, four fully operational lines, TrueTrack build visibility, and shorter lead times lower unit costs and improve throughput. These structural efficiency improvements raise long‑term margin potential, enable scalable capacity without heavy capex, and strengthen competitive positioning.
Backlog Visibility And Cash LiquidityA $156M backlog (2,058 units) combined with $52.8M cash provides multi‑quarter revenue visibility and liquidity to execute retrofit programs and manage timing risk. The cash buffer and visible backlog support disciplined capex, working capital needs, and delivery of strategic initiatives into 2027.
Bears Say
Stressed Capital StructureNegative shareholders' equity (~-$65M) alongside ~ $146M of debt materially constrains financial flexibility. This capital structure elevates refinancing, covenant and liquidity risk, limits ability to invest or absorb shocks, and can increase funding costs across business cycles.
Declining Volumes And RevenueA ~33% YoY revenue drop and ~18.7% decline in unit deliveries highlight exposure to cyclical demand and order timing. Persistently lower volumes weaken fixed‑cost absorption, pressure gross margins and adjusted profitability, and increase volatility of earnings and cash generation.
Eroding Adjusted Profitability & Cash MomentumA roughly 50% drop in adjusted EBITDA and a ~54% decline in TTM free cash flow reduce internal cushions for debt repayment and investment. Weaker adjusted profitability and deteriorating cash conversion constrain deleveraging and heighten execution risk if demand or working capital trends worsen.
