The call was strongly positive overall. PACCAR reported significant revenue and profit growth, record PACCAR Parts revenue, higher financial-services earnings, strong pricing, robust cash generation, and positive truck-market and technology outlooks. The main challenges were supplier constraints, elevated customer operating costs, parts-mix pressure, tariff costs, and uncertainty surrounding 2027 emissions regulations and NCP levels.

Fourth quarter deliveries are anticipated to increase and be in the range of 41 thousand to 43 thousand, fourth quarter gross margin should remain high and be in the range of 14% to 15%, parts growth is expected to finish within the previously forecasted 3% to 5% range for 2026 with continued growth next year, this year's capital expenditures are projected to be between $650 million and $700 million and R&D expenses will be $440 to $460 million, and in 2027 capital projects are estimated at $650 million to $700 million with R&D expenses of $460 million to $500 million.

- Record PACCAR Parts RevenuePACCAR Parts achieved record third-quarter revenue of $1.78 billion. The result was attributed to investments in parts distribution growth, the TRP all-makes brand, expanded transportation solutions, and additional dealer retail locations.
- PACCAR Financial Services GrowthPACCAR Financial Services generated $138 million of pretax income, up 9.4% year over year, reflecting stable finance margins and higher used-truck pricing.

- Healthy Gross Margin and Pricing PowerThird-quarter trucks, parts, and other gross margin was 14.5%, and fourth-quarter gross margin is expected to remain high at 14% to 15%. Management also said truck pricing has been strong and price/cost remained favorable, primarily due to favorable truck price realization.
- Positive North American Market OutlookThe US and Canadian Class 8 market is estimated at 240 thousand to 260 thousand trucks in 2026 and expected to grow to 240 thousand to 280 thousand in 2027, driven by economic growth, continued infrastructure investment, and recovery in the general freight market.
- Stable European and Growing South American MarketsEurope's above 16 ton market is projected at 300 thousand to 320 thousand units in both 2026 and 2027, supported by continued truck replacement and steady economic growth. - PACCAR Connect Platform IntroducedPACCAR introduced PACCAR Connect, a technology platform integrating fleet telematics, PACCAR truck data, customer-specific productivity applications, Apple CarPlay, and electronic driver logs into an integrated vehicle display.
