The company facilitates the electronic trading of various assets, including derivatives, electricity and gas products, emission allowances, and foreign currencies. It also oversees the Eurex Repo over-the-counter (OTC) trading platform and sophisticated electronic clearing systems. Deutsche Börse acts as a central counterparty for a broad spectrum of instruments, such as on- and off-exchange derivatives, repurchase agreements, and both OTC and exchange-traded derivatives, as well as equities and bonds. Within the cash market, it manages prominent trading venues like Xetra, Börse Frankfurt, and Tradegate, and provides listing services. Beyond trading, the group offers comprehensive post-trade solutions, including securities custody and settlement, investment fund administration, global securities financing, and collateral management services. This also encompasses support for secured money market, repo, and securities lending transactions. Furthermore, Deutsche Börse engages in information services and technology. It develops and markets financial indices, along with advanced software for portfolio management and risk analysis. The company licenses trading and market data signals, provides technology and reporting solutions to external clients, and enables the interconnection of trading participants. Founded in 1585, Deutsche Börse AG is headquartered in Eschborn, Germany.
