Bulls Say, Bears Say

Bulls Say
Improved ProfitabilityMaterial margin expansion and sharp revenue recovery in 2026 indicate the company can win higher-margin work and improve execution. Sustained higher operating and net margins boost internal cash generation capacity, increase resilience to cost inflation, and enhance long-term return on capital.
Moderate Leverage And Stronger ROEA moderate debt-to-equity ratio alongside improved ROE suggests a healthier capital structure versus peers and prior years. This balance supports bidding on large projects and sustaining operations while still leaving room to access debt markets for strategic investments without excessive strain on credit capacity.
Recovering Cash GenerationReturn to positive OCF and FCF provides durable financial flexibility: funds available for reinvestment, maintenance capex, dividends or debt reduction. Consistent cash generation reduces reliance on external financing for project working capital and supports sustainable operations over the medium term.
Bears Say
Cyclical Revenue And Margin SwingsThe construction business exhibits pronounced cyclical swings that undermine earnings predictability. Revenue and margin volatility can strain backlog management, bidding discipline and long-term planning, increasing the risk that short-term project slowdowns materially depress profitability over multiple quarters.
Inconsistent Cash ConversionIrregular conversion of profits into cash reflects working-capital intensity and project timing risks. This inconsistency can force periodic external financing, limit ability to fund capex or dividends reliably, and raises sensitivity to contract delays or supplier payment cycles over the medium term.
Rising Absolute DebtGrowing absolute indebtedness reduces financial headroom and raises interest and refinancing exposure if conditions deteriorate. Higher leverage limits strategic agility—constraining bidding appetite for large projects and increasing vulnerability to margin compression or delays in a weaker market environment.
