Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Revenue RecoveryThe return to revenue growth indicates improving project execution and demand capture. Sustained expansion would strengthen operating scale and provide a broader base for recovering margins, although delivery consistency remains important.
Profitability RecoveryA sustained move back to profitability suggests better execution and cost control across the project portfolio. Positive earnings can improve internal funding capacity and reinforce the company’s ability to compete for infrastructure contracts.
Debt ReductionSharp deleveraging has materially strengthened the capital structure and reduced financial risk. A larger equity base and lower debt burden should improve resilience, preserve borrowing capacity, and provide greater flexibility during project execution cycles.
Bears Say
Weak Cash ConversionNegative cash generation despite improving earnings indicates that profits are not converting reliably into liquidity. In a project-based business, this can increase dependence on financing and constrain the ability to fund growth without balance-sheet support.
Margin VolatilityThe history of losses and uneven margins shows that profitability remains sensitive to project mix, execution outcomes, and cost control. This limits confidence in earnings durability and increases the risk that future contract issues could materially affect results.
Leverage HistoryAlthough debt has fallen substantially, the prior reliance on high leverage demonstrates structural balance-sheet risk through the cycle. Maintaining the lower-debt profile will be essential, particularly if working-capital needs rise during renewed project growth.
