Petro Carbon & Chemicals Ltd. is an Indian company specializing in the manufacturing and supply of Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC). This critical raw material is produced by calcining raw petroleum coke, a residue obtained from crude oil distillation units. The company's primary target markets include the aluminum industry, where CPC is used for melting alumina and in the production of carbon anodes for electrolytic cells, and the steel industry, where it serves as a carbon raiser for high carbon steel and specialty steel. Additionally, its products are supplied to graphite electrode and titanium dioxide manufacturers, as well as other metallurgical and chemical industries. Petro Carbon & Chemicals Ltd. operates a manufacturing facility in Haldia, West Bengal, India, which has a production capacity of 93,744 tons per annum of CPC. The company also utilizes a 10 MW Waste Heat Recovery-based Captive Power Plant at its facility to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability. The business model is primarily business-to-business (B2B).
