Ortin Global Ltd., established in 1986 and headquartered in Hyderabad, India, is an Indian enterprise specializing in the manufacturing and trading of pharmaceuticals, drugs, and their intermediates. The company, formerly known as Ortin Laboratories Limited until its name change in June 2024, offers an extensive portfolio of pharmaceutical formulations available as tablets, capsules, syrups, and dry powders. These products address a wide spectrum of therapeutic areas, including anti-diabetics, anti-allergics, cardiovascular conditions, sedatives, anti-helminthics, analgesics, antipyretics, various antibiotics (quinolones, penicillins, cephalosporins, macrolides), antifungals, chemotherapeutics, antacids, anti-ulcerants, anti-spasmodics, calcium and iron supplements, anti-arthritic drugs, protein supplements, enzymes, vitamins, as well as psychiatry, appetite stimulant, gynecological, and anti-retroviral medications. Beyond finished dosage forms, Ortin Global produces active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) intermediates for anti-retroviral, anti-diabetic, analgesic, antipyretic, antibiotic, antifungal, anti-ulcerant, and anti-malarial applications. Its manufacturing capabilities also extend to fine chemicals, Grignard products, and alkali metal compounds. The company provides a range of specialized services, including process development, characterization of processes and products, analytical research and development, and assay development. It also offers R&D for new formulation brands and diagnostic services, focusing on the creation of rapid flow kits, assays, and reagents. Additionally, Ortin Global secures long-term contracts for manufacturing intermediates and developing new APIs, functions as a merchant exporter of finished pharmaceutical formulations, and holds interests in real estate.
