Kovai Medical Center and Hospital Limited, founded in 1985 and based in Coimbatore, India, provides a comprehensive suite of hospital and educational services. The company operates through two primary divisions: Healthcare Services and Education Services. Within its extensive healthcare segment, Kovai Medical Center manages numerous medical facilities that offer a wide array of specialized treatments. These include critical care, emergency medicine, dermatology, endocrinology and diabetology, fertility and reproductive medicine, gastroenterology and hepatology, hematology, internal medicine, a dedicated Heart Institute, neonatology, nephrology, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatric surgery, pulmonology, psychological medicine, and rheumatology, alongside general health check programs. The surgical division provides a broad spectrum of procedures, encompassing general, gastrointestinal, bariatric, laparoscopic, cardio-thoracic, orthopedic and joint replacement, neuro, plastic, reconstructive, cosmetic, urology, spine, ENT/head and neck, dentistry/facio maxillary, and vascular surgeries. Supporting these medical and surgical services are advanced interventional radiology and imaging sciences, nuclear medicine and PET CT, laboratory medicine facilities, and physical medicine and rehabilitation centers. The company further operates dedicated cancer and ayurvedic wellness centers, in addition to critical emergency and trauma services and organ transplant programs. Beyond healthcare provision, Kovai Medical Center and Hospital Limited also contributes to medical education by operating a medical college located in Coimbatore.
