Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Revenue GrowthThe 2026 revenue rebound shows that the business regained operating momentum after a weak prior year. If sustained, stronger top-line performance can improve fixed-cost absorption, support investment in the regulated utility base, and provide a foundation for more consistent earnings over coming quarters.
Positive Free Cash FlowPositive operating and free cash flow across all reported periods indicates that the company is converting activity into cash rather than relying solely on accounting earnings. Continued cash generation can fund operations, support debt service, and provide resilience despite the company’s heavy leverage.
Operating ProfitabilityHealthy gross and operating margins in 2026 suggest that the core operating model retains profitability before below-the-line effects. Maintaining these margins would strengthen internal cash generation, improve the economics of future revenue growth, and help offset some pressure from the balance sheet.
Bears Say
Severe LeverageThe collapse in equity has left debt extremely large relative to the capital base, materially reducing the company’s financial cushion. Such leverage can constrain investment and capital allocation, while making the business more sensitive to refinancing conditions, interest costs, and operating setbacks.
Inconsistent Net ProfitabilityRepeated bottom-line losses indicate that improving revenue and operating margins have not translated reliably into net earnings. This weak earnings consistency complicates planning, limits retained-capital accumulation, and reduces confidence that operating improvements will strengthen shareholder value over the medium term.
Weak Debt CoverageAlthough cash flow is positive, its modest scale relative to total debt limits financial flexibility. A large share of future cash generation may remain committed to financing obligations, leaving less capacity to absorb higher financing costs, refinance debt, or fund necessary business investment.
