Its capabilities include the design of structural sub-assemblies and the integration of optical and thermal equipment, such as Optical Solar Reflectors (OSRs), Second Surface Mirrors (SSMs), heaters, and heat pipes. The company also specializes in the design and production of multi-layer insulation (MLI) products, as well as the full lifecycle — from design to manufacturing and testing — of space harnesses for instruments and platforms. Furthermore, Soditech provides engineering calculation services encompassing static, dynamic, thermal, and thermoelastic analyses. It designs specialized assembly tools and manufactures MLI mattresses for ultra-vacuum applications. The firm is also engaged in the development, qualification, manufacturing, and testing of on-board electronic boxes, alongside the design, assembly, and testing of racks and bays used for various testing purposes. Founded in 1990 in Cannes, France, the company was formerly known as Soditech Ingenierie SA.
