Its Spanish footprint includes 49 hospitals, 88 outpatient clinics, and around 300 risk prevention centers. Furthermore, Helios extends its reach into fertility treatments, operating 33 clinics and an additional 39 sites spanning 10 countries across three continents. Fresenius Vamed specializes in the development, planning, and operational management of hospitals and other healthcare infrastructure. Its services range from project development and turnkey construction to ongoing maintenance, technical oversight, and full operational management. Established in 1912 and headquartered in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe, Germany, the company adopted its current name, Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA, in January 2011, having previously been known as Fresenius SE.
