Q3 2026 Earnings Call Summary
The call was predominantly positive. The company reported broad-based volume acceleration, revenue and EBITDA growth, margin expansion in Mexico and South America, strong performances in Peru and Ecuador, improved U.S. execution, a solid balance sheet, continued innovation and investment, and confirmed 2026 sales guidance. These strengths outweighed the net income decline, financing-related foreign exchange loss, input-cost pressures, higher operating expenses, and challenges in Argentina and the U.S. snack business.
Arca Continental confirmed its 2026 guidance for mid-single-digit consolidated sales growth on a currency-neutral basis; Coca-Cola Southwest expects to close the year at the same levels of last year, Mexico expects the year to close with the same trend as the first nine months, and the company expects to continue to have prices above inflation. OpEx to sales is expected to be around 32% this year and next year, while CapEx to sales is planned at 6%-7% this year and is expected to lower to 5%-6% in a couple of years. Innovation could contribute 1/4, 1/3 of growth in Latin America in the next few years; Wild West benefits are expected in the second half of next year and fully embedded in the P&L for 2028; and the company does not see any additional payment for this year.
