Company Description

ECA Marcellus Trust I

ECA Marcellus Trust I (ECTM) manages royalty interests in a collection of horizontal natural gas wells operated by Energy Corporation of America (ECA). These wells are located in Greene County, Pennsylvania, and are split between 14 currently producing sites and 52 still under development. ECTM's financial entitlement grants it 90% of the revenue generated from the sale of natural gas from ECA's share in the operational wells. For wells that are in the development phase, the Trust receives 50% of the proceeds from ECA's interest once production begins. The Trust itself was established in 2010 and is based in Houston, Texas.
