Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Expanding ProfitabilitySustained margin expansion and high operating profitability (EBIT ~20% in 2026) indicate durable earnings power from product mix and pricing. Higher margins support reinvestment, R&D and service capabilities, reducing sensitivity to revenue swings over a multi‑quarter horizon.
Conservative Balance SheetExceptionally low leverage and rising equity provide long-lived financial flexibility to fund capex, R&D and working capital through cycles. This reduces refinancing risk and supports strategic optionality (investments, M&A or sustaining payouts) during downturns.
Consistent Free Cash FlowReliable free cash flow generation, and a strong 2026 rebound, underpins the company's ability to fund maintenance, after-sales support and selective investments from internal cash. Persistent FCF improves long-term self-funding and lowers reliance on external capital.
Bears Say
Cyclical End‑market ExposureHeavy dependence on semiconductor capex and technology upgrade cycles makes revenue lumpy and timing-dependent. Structural exposure to industry cycles can produce multi-quarter revenue swings and complicate capacity planning and margin sustainability over the medium term.
Inconsistent Cash ConversionVariability between reported profits and operating cash flow—driven by working-capital timing—reduces predictability of free cash flow. During downcycles or large deliveries this can strain liquidity or force cutbacks in discretionary investments despite reported profitability.
Recent Top-line And EPS DeclinesNegative recent revenue and EPS growth reflect cyclical softness and make sustaining prior margin gains harder if volumes slip. Persistent top-line pressure would test the company’s operating leverage and could compress returns if cyclical demand does not normalize.
