The Diabetes and Obesity Care segment offers a comprehensive portfolio of treatments for diabetes (including insulins, GLP-1 analogues, oral antidiabetic agents, and related delivery systems), obesity management, glucagon, medical needles, and other chronic conditions. The Rare Disease segment provides specialized medications for haemophilia, various blood disorders, endocrine imbalances, growth hormone deficiencies, and hormone replacement therapy. Additionally, the company engages in strategic alliances, including a partnership with Gilead Sciences, Inc., and conducts research focused on identifying cell-specific carriers for nucleic acid-based therapies. Established in 1923, Novo Nordisk A/S is headquartered in Bagsvaerd, Denmark.
