Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Raised $150M Offering Strengthens RunwayA $150M underwritten equity raise meaningfully extends the company's funded runway, reducing immediate financing pressure. This durable capital buffer allows InflaRx to advance planned izicopan proof-of-concept and Phase 2 programs and maintain operations while seeking partnerships.
Very Low Balance-sheet LeverageExtremely low debt provides structural financial flexibility: InflaRx can prioritize R&D and strategic partnerships without high interest burdens. This durable low-leverage profile lowers bankruptcy risk and preserves capacity to raise non-debt funding as clinical programs progress.
Pipeline Refocus Into AAV With Regulatory TailwindThe EMA setback for a competitor reshapes AAV competition and creates a structural opening. With vilobelimab Phase‑3 readiness and izicopan Phase‑2 planning, InflaRx has a long-term opportunity to capture unmet need in AAV and related renal diseases if subsequent trials and regulatory engagement succeed.
Bears Say
Sustained Negative Operating And Free Cash FlowPersistent cash burn is a durable structural weakness: operating losses translate into real cash outflows, forcing reliance on external financing and partnerships. Continued negative FCF constrains long-term R&D pacing and elevates dilution risk unless clinical milestones change funding needs.
Negligible Revenue And Recurring Net LossesAbsence of meaningful product revenue means the company remains dependent on capital markets and collaborations. Large, persistent losses over multiple years reduce operational resilience and limit ability to self-fund late‑stage programs, a long-term constraint on sustainable growth.
Erosion Of Equity And Assets Increases Funding RiskMaterial declines in equity and assets shrink the balance-sheet buffer that absorbs setbacks. A reduced capital base increases the frequency and magnitude of required external financing, raising dilution risk and limiting optionality for strategic investments or defensive maneuvers over the medium term.

Company Description
Inflarx N.V.
InflaRx N.V. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical firm dedicated to discovering and developing novel inhibitors leveraging C5a technology, primarily operating in Germany and the United States. The company's focus on C5a stems from its critical role as an inflammatory mediator implicated in the progression of various autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Its primary product candidate, vilobelimab, is an innovative, first-in-class anti-C5a monoclonal antibody delivered intravenously. Vilobelimab has progressed through several clinical stages for multiple indications: It has successfully completed a Phase III clinical trial for hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), a rare, chronic, and debilitating systemic inflammatory skin condition. It is currently undergoing Phase II trials for anti-neutrophil cytoplasm antibody associated vasculitis (AAV), a rare and life-threatening autoimmune disorder, and for PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor resistant/refractory locally advanced or metastatic cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC). An exploratory Phase IIa study is also underway for pyoderma gangraenosum (PG), a chronic inflammatory skin disorder. Beyond its lead candidate, InflaRx is also advancing INF904, an oral, small molecule drug candidate targeting undisclosed chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, and IFX002, which is in preclinical development for chronic inflammation and autoimmune conditions. Strategic collaborations include a co-development agreement with Beijing Defengrei Biotechnology Co. Ltd. and a clinical trial collaboration and supply agreement with Merck & Co. Inc. Established in 2007, the company, initially known as Fireman B.V., officially became InflaRx N.V. in 2017. It maintains its headquarters in Jena, Germany, with operations extending to the United States.
