Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Consistent Operating Cash FlowStable OCF and positive free cash flow create a durable internal funding base. Over the next 2–6 months this underpins capex for networks, supports the dividend and service of obligations, and provides resilience against earnings volatility while enabling measured reinvestment.
Diversified Telecom Revenue StreamsA broad mix of mobile, fixed broadband, converged bundles, B2B contracts and wholesale revenue smooths demand cycles. Recurring subs, enterprise contracts and bundling reduce churn and sustain long-term cash generation and competitive position across consumer and enterprise markets.
Revenue Rebound In 2025The 2025 revenue rebound demonstrates underlying demand resilience and operational recovery. Sustained top-line recovery helps restore scale economics, supports margin stabilization and funds strategic investments in fiber and services that drive durable competitive advantage.
Bears Say
High And Rising LeverageDebt-to-equity near 2.0 materially reduces financial flexibility. Over months this limits capacity for organic or inorganic investment, raises refinancing risk if rates move up, and constrains ability to accelerate deleveraging without impacting operations or shareholder distributions.
Material Drop In Profitability/returnsA sharp decline in margins and ROE erodes the firm's ability to convert revenue into shareholder value. Persistently low returns reduce retained earnings, hamper balance-sheet repair, and increase sensitivity to cost or competitive pressures over the medium term.
Weak Cash Coverage Vs. DebtOCF-to-debt coverage under 0.5 indicates limited ability to rapidly pay down leverage. Even with positive FCF, constrained coverage restricts aggressive deleveraging or large strategic moves without issuing new debt or cutting payouts, limiting long-term strategic optionality.
