Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Aftermarket Revenue GrowthAn 86% YoY increase in aftermarket sales signals durable revenue diversification beyond new-build cycles. Aftermarket/retrofit work generates recurring parts and service cash flow, improves revenue visibility and margin stability, and reduces sensitivity to new-car market volatility.
Productivity And Manufacturing ScalabilityA ~50% productivity gain, four fully operational lines and TrueTrack build visibility are structural improvements that lower unit costs, shorten lead times and allow scalable output. These durable operational gains support margin resilience and capacity to execute retrofit and conversion programs.
Growing, Diversified BacklogA $156M backlog with mixed new-build, conversion and retrofit work provides multi-quarter revenue visibility and diversifies demand exposure. The backlog plus planned retrofit program supports back-half weighted deliveries and reduces near-term dependency on spot new-car orders.
Bears Say
Stressed Capital StructureNegative equity and roughly $146M of debt materially constrain financial flexibility. This stressed capital structure increases refinancing and covenant risk, limits ability to invest in growth or absorb cyclical downturns, and amplifies leverage sensitivity to cash‑flow volatility.
Sharp Recent Revenue And Delivery WeaknessA roughly 33% YoY revenue drop and lower unit deliveries reduce capacity utilization and compress operating leverage. If demand remains uneven, margins and cash generation may revert, making recent margin improvements harder to sustain absent consistent order flow or faster retrofit conversion.
Weakened Adjusted Profitability MetricsA halving of adjusted EBITDA and an adjusted net loss indicate fragile earnings quality; margins are sensitive to volume and mix. Sustaining positive free cash flow will require consistent throughput or higher‑margin aftermarket growth; otherwise profitability may remain volatile across cycles.

FAR Earnings Call
Q1 2026

Earnings Call Sentiment|Neutral
The call presents a mixed but fundamentally stable picture: operational and strategic progress (strong aftermarket growth, ~50% productivity improvement, higher gross margins, a larger and diversified backlog, and a solid cash position) are clear positives. These are offset by meaningful near-term declines in revenue, unit deliveries, and adjusted profitability (adjusted EBITDA and adjusted net income), and by reliance on second-half order conversions and retrofit program timing to meet full-year expectations. Management reaffirmed guidance and emphasized agility, backlog strength, and a growing pipeline as mitigating factors.View all DE:FAR earnings summariesFAR Stock 12 Month Forecast
