Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Revenue And Gross Profit ImprovementSubstantial 2025 revenue growth (~64%) with gross profit turning positive indicates the business is starting to scale core offerings. Durable revenue expansion and positive gross margin create a clearer path to operating leverage as R&D and fixed costs are spread over higher sales.
Improved Leverage And Sizeable Asset BaseMarked reduction in debt materially lowers near-term financing strain and interest obligations. Coupled with substantial assets and a remaining equity cushion, this improves solvency and provides a durable buffer to support continued clinical development and capital-intensive manufacturing.
Focused CAR‑T Platform And Manufacturing CapabilitiesA clear strategic focus on CAR‑T and end‑to‑end capabilities (discovery through manufacturing) is a durable competitive asset in cell therapy. Owning process and manufacturing know‑how supports faster trials, potential cost control, and differentiation in a capital‑intensive specialty area.
Bears Say
Negative Operating Cash FlowSustained negative operating cash flow (~-230.8M) requires recurring external financing to fund R&D and operations. Over months this persistent cash burn raises dilution and refinancing risk, and can constrain program execution if capital access tightens or terms deteriorate.
Large Ongoing Operating LossesSignificant operating losses despite revenue gains show the company is not yet profitable at the operating level. This structural loss profile reflects high fixed R&D and clinical costs, prolonging reliance on funding and delaying sustainable margin improvement absent material revenue scale or cost reduction.
Erosion Of Shareholder EquityMaterial decline in equity over several years signals cumulative losses and reduces the capital buffer. This erosion constrains financial flexibility, increases risk of dilutive financing or tougher capital terms, and weakens the balance sheet's ability to absorb setbacks in clinical development.
