Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Surgical Aesthetics GrowthStrong growth in the core Surgical Aesthetics segment, supported by AYON, international Renuvion systems and domestic handpieces, can expand the installed base and recurring consumable revenue over the next several years.
Product And Regulatory ExpansionPower Lipo broadens AYON’s clinical utility and increases the potential value of each system placement. Management expects more than 95% of new AYON purchasers to include it, supporting adoption and future consumables demand.
Clinical Platform ValidationPositive clinical evidence can strengthen surgeon confidence, patient demand and regulatory positioning for Renuvion-based procedures. Broader validation may support durable adoption across aesthetic indications and reinforce the company’s technology platform.
Bears Say
Persistent Cash BurnNegative operating and free cash flow show that the business has not yet funded itself internally. Continued investment in commercialization and product launches may require external funding, limiting flexibility and increasing execution risk.
Elevated LeverageDebt materially exceeds the equity base, leaving a thin cushion against operating setbacks. Combined with ongoing losses, this leverage can constrain investment capacity, increase refinancing exposure and heighten dilution or funding risk.
Profitability And OEM PressureThe company remains loss-making while the declining OEM segment reduces revenue diversification. Early Power Lipo units also carry higher production costs, so margin recovery depends on manufacturing scale, cost control and successful growth in aesthetics.

APYX Earnings Call
Q2 2026
0:00 / 0:00
Earnings Call Sentiment|Positive
The call presented solid commercial and clinical momentum: double-digit top-line growth (22% total, 28% surgical aesthetics), improved gross profit/margin and narrower operating and adjusted EBITDA losses, supported by FDA clearance for power liposuction and favorable clinical data. Offsetting risks include continued OEM decline, increased operating cash use and near-term manufacturing/cost pressures for new Power Lipo units, plus tariff-related cost uncertainty. On balance, the positive revenue and margin trends, clinical validation, product approvals and reaffirmed guidance outweigh the challenges.View all APYX earnings summariesAPYX Stock 12 Month Forecast
