Bulls Say
Diversified Product And Distribution NetworkThaiBev’s broad portfolio across spirits, beer and non-alcoholic drinks combined with an extensive on- and off-trade distribution footprint supports durable revenue channels and resilience to single-segment shocks. A wide distribution network enables scale, route-to-market advantages and sustained market share over months.
Stable Gross And Healthy Operating MarginsA stable ~30% gross margin and healthy EBIT/EBITDA margins indicate persistent cost control and pricing power in core beverage products. Such margin durability supports long-term cash generation and the ability to absorb cost pressures or invest in brands without immediate margin erosion across the business.
Strong Operating Cash Flow And Improved Free Cash FlowImproved operating and free cash flow show robust cash conversion and internal funding capacity for capex, dividends or deleveraging. Strong cash generation is a durable strength that enhances financial flexibility and supports recurring investments in brands and distribution over the medium term.
Bears Say
Volatile And Declining Revenue GrowthA notable recent revenue decline and historically volatile top-line growth undermine predictability of future earnings. Sustained or recurring revenue weakness can limit operating leverage benefits, pressure investment plans, and require longer-term shifts in strategy to restore growth trajectories.
Rising Leverage And Falling Equity RatioIncreasing leverage and a declining equity ratio raise the company’s financial risk profile, reducing flexibility to withstand shocks and increasing financing costs over time. Elevated debt levels can constrain strategic options and make cash flow variability more consequential for long-term stability.
Pressure On Net Profit MarginA falling net profit margin despite steady gross margins suggests rising operating costs, higher taxes/excise, or adverse mix shifts. Persistent margin compression at the net level would erode return on capital and limit reinvestment capacity, making long-term profitability recovery harder without structural changes.

Y92 Earnings Call
Q2 2026
0:00 / 0:00
Earnings Call Sentiment|Neutral
Mixed. The call highlights operational strengths — notably a strong beer profit recovery (+24.6% net profit) and material raw-material tailwinds expected to improve margins in FY26, plus completed/near-complete capacity investments (Cambodia, Malaysia) and maintained dividend. However, these positives are tempered by group-wide revenue and net profit declines (sales -2.1%, net profit -11.7%), continued softness in domestic consumption, segmental profit declines (spirits -7%, NAB -13.4%), losses in food and other businesses, and short-term market/logistical disruptions (Vietnam competition, border conflicts, floods). Overall the positives and negatives are balanced.View all SG:Y92 earnings summariesY92 Stock 12 Month Forecast
