Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Bielsko-Biala, Poland, Eko Export S.A. specializes in the production, refinement, and global distribution of microspheres, with a significant presence in Europe and the United States. These versatile microspheres are integral to a diverse range of industries. In the automotive sector, they enhance composites, primers, tires, casting molds, brake pads, trim, body fillers, plastics, and soundproofing materials. Within energy and engineering, applications include oil well cements, drilling muds, industrial coatings, grinding materials, spacecraft coatings and composites, explosives, and propeller arms. The construction and plastics industries utilize them in BMC and SMC stampings, injection molding, modeling, extrusion, PVC flooring, thin films, as well as various polymers like nylon, high-density polyethylene, low-density polyethylene, and polypropylene. For recreation, they are found in boats, floating equipment, bowling balls, surfboards, kayaks, golf equipment, footwear, lawns, and garden decorations. Furthermore, the ceramics industry incorporates them into refractories, pouring compounds, roofing tiles, fire bricks, aluminous cement, insulating materials, and specialized coatings.
