Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Modest LeverageModest leverage provides a stronger financial base than a highly indebted balance sheet and may reduce near-term pressure from debt servicing. The 2025 debt-to-equity position gives management greater flexibility to fund development while limiting the balance-sheet amplification of operating losses.
Positive Equity PositionReturning to positive shareholders’ equity is a meaningful structural improvement in solvency relative to the prior two years. Although accumulated losses remain a concern, the improved capital position offers more protection for creditors and creates a stronger foundation for continued development spending.
2024 Loss And Burn ImprovementThe improvement in 2024 operating cash burn and net loss shows that the company has demonstrated some ability to reduce spending pressure from the 2023 level. This offers evidence of potential cost-control capacity, although the reversal in 2025 means the improvement has not yet proven durable.
Bears Say
No Commercial RevenueA three-year absence of reported revenue indicates that commercial traction has not yet been established. Without product sales or operating revenue, the company remains dependent on capital resources to support development, making future financial progress highly dependent on achieving successful commercialization.
Persistent Large LossesLarge recurring net losses show that the current business is not yet economically self-sustaining. The slight worsening in 2025 after improvement in 2024 suggests limited evidence of a lasting narrowing trend, leaving earnings power dependent on future progress rather than existing operations.
Negative Cash GenerationConsistently negative operating and free cash flow means reported losses are translating into substantial cash outflows. The renewed increase in burn during 2025 raises the need for continued funding and reduces financial flexibility if development spending remains high without revenue generation.
