Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
High Gross MarginsSustained ~78.7% gross margins indicate strong product-level economics typical of biologics. High gross margins provide structural capacity to absorb fixed R&D and commercial costs as sales scale, improving the path to durable profitability once operating leverage is achieved.
Recurring Revenue GrowthPositive TTM revenue growth shows demand for marketed products and commercial traction. Steady top-line expansion supports longer-term margin expansion and cash generation potential as existing high-margin products scale and licensing or geographic expansion converts pipeline value to recurring sales.
Focused Biologics And Licensing ModelA clear strategic focus on immuno-oncology, biologics and diversified monetization (product sales, licensing, collaborations) provides structural advantages: high barriers to entry, multiple revenue levers, and partnerability that can yield durable milestone and royalty income beyond direct sales.
Bears Say
Negative Operating And Free Cash FlowPersistent cash burn and deeply negative FCF imply reliance on external funding to support R&D and commercialization. Over months this limits strategic flexibility, can force dilutive financings or cutbacks, and raises execution risk until operating cash flow turns sustainably positive.
Meaningful UnprofitabilityA roughly -35% net margin and continued negative operating profitability show the company has yet to convert high gross margins into bottom-line profits. Unless R&D/commercial spending is rebalanced or revenue growth accelerates, sustained losses will pressure returns and value creation.
Rising Leverage And Negative Returns On EquityModerate but rising leverage reduces financial flexibility to fund growth and increases refinancing risk. Combined with negative ROE (~-14%), this indicates capital deployed is not generating returns, constraining long-term shareholder value until profitability and ROE improve.
