Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Revenue And Margin ReboundStrong revenue growth accompanied by higher gross, operating, and EBITDA margins indicates improving mix, volume leverage, and cost discipline. If sustained, this rebound can strengthen earnings capacity and provide additional resources for capacity expansion and technology investment over the next several quarters.
Demand Visibility And End-Market GrowthA larger backlog, strong book-to-bill, and rapid data-center growth provide meaningful forward demand visibility. Exposure to data center and networking plus aerospace and defense can support sustained utilization and reduce reliance on short-cycle commercial electronics demand.
Advanced Technology ExpansionSuccessful scaling of N+M and Ultra-HDI technologies expands TTM’s advanced PCB capabilities and can improve product mix as yields mature. These offerings support complex applications where performance requirements and qualification processes may reinforce customer relationships and margins.
Bears Say
Weak Cash ConversionNegative trailing free cash flow limits internally generated funds available for debt reduction, acquisitions, and shareholder returns. Although operating cash flow improved, inconsistent conversion relative to net income leaves the company more dependent on sustained earnings and working-capital improvement.
Acquisition-Driven LeverageThe Epiq transaction could broaden TTM’s capabilities, but the financing materially increases leverage from the current level and raises execution demands. The expected deleveraging depends on acquisition integration, earnings growth, and cash generation, making balance-sheet flexibility more sensitive to setbacks.
Ramp And Automotive Execution RiskSeveral capacity and technology programs remain in staged ramp-up, with some sites not yet at full breakeven or production scale. At the same time, automotive weakness and lower-end material pressure could offset part of the growth contribution while these initiatives require investment and execution.

TT1 Earnings Call
Q2 2026
0:00 / 0:00
Earnings Call Sentiment|Positive
The call conveyed a strongly positive operational and financial performance with record quarterly revenue, robust YoY growth across key end markets (notably data center and A&D), meaningful margin expansion, improved guidance for the year, and a healthy backlog and pipeline. Lowlights were limited to FX/derivative mark-to-market losses, modest automotive softness and some supply‑chain pressure in lower‑end materials, pending acquisition disclosure limits, and typical ramp execution risks for new technologies and facilities. Overall, the favorable metrics, upgraded guidance and pipeline strength materially outweigh the negatives.View all DE:TT1 earnings summariesTT1 Stock 12 Month Forecast
