ENI S.p.A.
Eni S.p.A. is an energy company primarily focused on the exploration, development, and production of crude oil and natural gas. Its operations are organized into several key divisions: Exploration & Production, which handles the discovery, development, and output of oil, gas, and related liquids, alongside initiatives in forest conservation and carbon capture; Global Gas & LNG Portfolio, focused on supplying and wholesaling natural gas through pipelines and managing the international trade of liquefied natural gas (LNG); Refining & Marketing and Chemicals, which encompasses the processing, delivery, and sale of fuels and chemical products; and Plenitude and Power, dedicated to retail sales of gas and electricity, along with generating wholesale electricity from both conventional (thermoelectric) and renewable sources. The company also manages various Corporate and Other activities. As of December 31, 2021, Eni held proven reserves totaling 6,628 million barrels of oil equivalent and possessed an operational power generation capacity of 4.5 gigawatts. Established in 1953, its corporate headquarters are located in Rome, Italy.
