Race Oncology Ltd.

Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, Race Oncology Limited is a precision oncology company focused on advancing its lead therapeutic, Zantrene. This potent small molecule compound acts as an inhibitor of the fatso/fat mass and obesity associated protein (FTO) and is currently undergoing Phase II/III clinical trials. Zantrene is being investigated for its potential to treat a range of cancers, including melanoma, clear cell renal cell carcinoma, acute myeloid leukaemia, breast cancer, and ovarian cancer. The company maintains an active preclinical research program with the University of Newcastle, focusing on Zantrene, and has also forged a strategic alliance with the University of Wollongong to assess various formulations of the drug. Established in 2011, Race Oncology Limited adopted its current name in July 2016, having previously operated as Coronado Resources Limited.
