Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Strong Balance SheetVery low leverage and substantial equity create durable financial flexibility, allowing the company to fund exploration and absorb losses without immediate refinancing. This conserves optionality for project development and reduces bankruptcy risk over the next 2–6 months.
Early Revenue GenerationInitial revenue and positive gross profit in FY2025 indicate the business is beginning to transition from pure exploration to value-creating activity. If sustained, this underpins longer-term margin improvement and reduces reliance on financing versus pure cash-burn scenarios.
Exposure To Battery Raw-materials MarketOperating in the lithium supply chain aligns the company with structurally growing demand from electrification and batteries. This market position supports multi-quarter relevance for project economics and potential long-term offtake or strategic partnerships.
Bears Say
Ongoing LossesSustained operating and net losses mean internal earnings cannot fund growth; continued negative profitability over multiple periods reduces retained capital and increases the likelihood the company will need external funding, diluting shareholders or constraining projects.
Negative Operating And Free Cash FlowPersistent negative operating and free cash flow indicates structural cash burn linked to exploration and development. Without a durable shift to positive cash generation, funding needs remain a material mid-term risk and can force dilutive equity raises or debt under less favorable terms.
Negative Returns On Equity / Dilution RiskConsistently negative ROE shows deployed capital has not produced profits. Over 2–6 months this raises the practical risk of capital raises or equity dilution to fund operations and development, which can erode existing holders' stakes and impair long-term returns.
