Twilio Introduces CDP Developer Toolkit; Street Says Buy

Cloud communications platform Twilio (TWLO) has launched its Developer Toolkit, a set of developer tools that will give companies powerful data collection and integration capabilities.

With this toolkit, Twilio said, companies will be able to customize their customer data stack and deliver truly differentiated customer experiences. (See Twilio stock charts on TipRanks)

Notably, customers will have permission to add data sources and application destinations in addition to over 400 options available in the Twilio Segment catalog.

The toolkit also ensures improved performance by batching events with Analytics.js 2.0, an advanced analytics integrator that can result in better SEO scores.

The CEO of Twilio Segment, Peter Reinhardt, said, “In this race for differentiation, software developers are a company’s most valuable asset. That’s why we’ve created this new Developer Toolkit. The companies who figure out how to empower their developers to create amazing customer experiences will thrive, while those who do not will fail.”

Last month, Robert W. Baird analyst William Power reiterated a Buy rating on the stock with a price target of $450 (upside potential of 31.9%).

Power noted, “As demonstrated by the strong organic trends, we remain positive on TWLO’s strong competitive position and digital transformation growth opportunity.”

The stock has a Strong Buy consensus rating based on 14 Buys and 1 Hold. The average Twilio price target of $463.17 implies 35.7% upside potential from current levels.

Furthermore, Twilio scores a “Perfect 10” on TipRanks’ Smart Score rating system, indicating that the stock has strong potential to outperform market expectations.
