Xbox boss tells Polygon he wants other game retailers on Xbox consoles

Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer told Polygon in an interview during the annual Game Developers Conference that he doesn’t just want Xbox games on other consoles, but also wants other game retailers, such as Itch.io and the Epic Games Store on Xbox platforms as well. “Consider our history as the Windows company,” Spencer said. “Nobody would blink twice if I said, ‘Hey, when you’re using a PC, you get to decide the type of experience you have… There’s real value in that.”
