Seaport Research analyst Mark Weintraub downgraded WestRock (WRK) to Neutral from Buy without a price target. The analyst says “lots of moving parts adds to risks as well as potential reward.” The firm notes that Smurfit Kappa (SMKFY) shareholders still have to approve the proposed takeover transaction. In addition, big paper deals have a mixed record, particularly in North America, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
