Wendy’s CEO’s ‘fresh perspective’ likely ‘well-received,’ says Jefferies

After Wendy’s announced the appointment of Kirk Tanner, who was most recently CEO of North American Beverages at PepsiCo (PEP), as President and CEO, Jefferies analyst Alexander Slagle said that some fresh perspective is “likely well-received ahead of a more challenging year.” The firm, which add there is “much to be seen” with the incoming CEO and updates to the long-term outlook, believes the risk/ reward appears fair and maintains a Hold rating and $20 price target on Wendy’s shares.
