On Wednesday, Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) and HBO are expected to unveil plans for Max, the new combined streaming service, The New York Times’ John Koblin reports. According to three people with knowledge of the decision, the new service, which will help the company compete more directly with Netflix (NFLX) and Disney (DIS), will debut in the next month or two and cost around $16 a month, with several price tiers.
