Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) canceled a planned downloadable expansion for its popular 2023 video game “Hogwarts Legacy” as part of an ongoing revamp at the entertainment giant’s video game business, Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier reports, citing people familiar with the matter. The expansion, which would have added new story quests to the “Harry Potter” game, had initially been slated for release in 2025 alongside a “Definitive Edition” of the original title, the author says, noting that such plans were never publicly announced by Warner Bros. Discovery.
