Truist raised the firm’s price target on Walmart to $170 from $168 and keeps a Hold rating on the shares. The company posted “solid” Q3 results but the stock fell 8% as investors expected stronger margin performance, particularly given the growth in its higher-margin, ancillary businesses, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Truist adds however that Walmart continues to deliver solid sales growth and further share gains, despite the continued normalization of grocery prices and pressures on discretionary spending.
