In an interview on CNBC’s Mad Money, Tim Wentworth said Walgreens is “knee deep” in an analysis of the business and how it’s going to move forward. “A year from now you’re going to find a company that is more focused,” he noted. It launched nearly 40 new private labels this quarter, and over 80% of online orders were delivered within an hour, he added. He is “super confident” of the revival of the front end of the store. Shrink is not equal across all stores, and the company is working “really hard” to reduce it, he said.
