Operating result came in at around EUR 4.9B, Volkswagen said in a statement, adding that the operating return on sales was around 6.2%. In the nine-month period, Group sales revenue increased by around 16% to approximately EUR 235.1B. Operating profit was around EUR 16.2B, corresponding to an operating return on sales of 6.9%.
