Citi analyst Ashwin Shirvaikar raised the firm’s price target on Visa to $273 from $270 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. Visa delivered a solid quarter with revenues, margins and earnings beating expectations, the analyst tells investors in a research note. While March and April volume growth ticked down sequentially, it seems to be driven by moderating inflation and narrow discounting rather than tangible consumer weakness, says Citi.
