Visa (V) has made a proposal to acquire Pismo and is jockeying with "at least one other interested party" to buy the Brazilian cloud banking and payments platform, according to a translation of a report published for Valor’s Pipeline by Maria Luiza Filgueiras. This is Visa’s second offer for Pismo since the first proposal of $1B was rejected by the platform’s partners so Visa raised its bid to $1.4B, two sources reportedly said.
