Unum Group price target lowered to $53 from $54 at Morgan Stanley

Morgan Stanley lowered the firm’s price target on Unum Group to $53 from $54 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares. This quarter, results from the Life/Annuity group showed sizable dispersion between the companies, but in aggregate both earnings and capital were stronger than expected, which bodes well for strong relative outperformance from the sector, the analyst tells investors in group recap note.
