DA Davidson keeps a Buy rating and $495 price target on Ulta Beauty while noting that the firm’s proprietary tracking of “newness” products is showing a ramp up in September and early October, which may turn out to be a “potentially positive indicator” for holiday sales trends. The firm adds however that its weekly data gauging “return to office” activity is growing at a lower rate, which could weigh against comps.
