UK’s Competition and Markets Authority clears iRobot acquisition by Amazon.com

The CMA stated: “Following a phase 1 investigation, the Competition and Markets Authority, CMA, does not believe that it is or may be the case that the Merger may be expected to result in a substantial lessening of competition within a market or markets in the UK. On this basis, the Merger will therefore not be referred for an in-depth phase 2 investigation.”
