Udemy’s Gen-AI demo highlights skill mapping functionality, says Needham

Needham keeps a Buy rating and $15 price target on Udemy after attending its product demo that highlighted its GenAI roadmap. The firm came away most impressed with the demo’s skills mapping functionality, which will utilize GenAI to match the skills needs to specific course content via a skills tree that then creates a personalized learning path for each employee, the analyst tells investors in a research note. If Udemy can execute well in this area, it will be a tailwind to growth starting in FY25, the firm added.
