The United Auto Workers president Shawn Fain said that the union has filed unfair labor practice charges to the NLRB against General Motors (GM) and Stellantis (STLA), claiming that the car makers are not bargaining with the union in good faith or a timely manner, CNBC’s Michael Wayland reports. Fain said the filing followed the car makers not responding to the union’s demands in a timely manner, Wayland says, noting that UAW did not file a complaint against Ford (F).
