The United Auto Workers union intends to strike at additional automotive facilities owned by General Motors (GM), Ford (F), and Stellantis (STLA) on Friday if there is no serious progress on deal talks, Reuters’ David Shepardson and Joseph White report, citing a source familiar with the talks. UAW boss Shawn Fain intends to unveil the new targets on Friday morning in online remarks, and workers could leave those sites at noon ET, the authors note.
