Oppenheimer lowered the firm’s price target on U.S. Bancorp to $54 from $55 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares following quarterly results, which were viewed as “a somewhat disappointing but not a calamitous report.” The firm shares the frustration as it feels every quarter things are slightly on the adverse side of expectations and that adverse news is being dribbled out on the installment plan.
