Piper Sandler lowered the firm’s price target on Truist Financial to $31 from $32 and keeps a Neutral rating on the shares. Truist’s core Q3 performance was better than consensus, and while core expenses were well controlled, core fees were weaker than the firm’s estimate on weaker insurance and service charges, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
