Live Nation (LYV) and Ticketmaster will soon offer consumers all-in pricing on their platforms, the White House announced as it convenes on Thursday to crack down on junk fees, Jarrett Renshaw of Reuters reports. President Joe Biden is hosting a meeting at the White House for companies who have committed to disclosing fees to consumers upfront. Some of these companies include Ticketmaster, SeatGeek. and Airbnb (ABNB). Live Nation will commit to roll out an upfront all-in pricing across its platform in September, which will show just one total price for more than 30M fans attending shows at over 200 Live Nation-owned venues and festivals, the White House said, according to Reuters.
