A spokesman for Swedish union IF Metall told AFP that Tesla mechanics in Sweden walked off the job on Friday on protect of the company’s refusal to sign a collective wage pact. Spokesman Jesper Pettersson said that Tesla staff had “lower wages, don’t have the same insurances, and have lower pensions” than other industry workers.
