Robyn Denholm, the chair of Tesla’s (TSLA) board, told Bloomberg in an interview that the company is prepared to name a new CEO from inside the company if shareholders reject Elon Musk’s pay package and he steps down. To ensure an “orderly transition, the most likely would be internal,” Denholm said in the interview. The board chair did not rule out the possibility of external candidates.
